A Deep Throat Breathing
WHAT IS UJJAYI PRANAYAMA
This Pranayama called the Ocean Breath pranayama because when practitioner breath from the mouth then voice like waves of Ocean come from mouth.
If there is pain in the part of the lungs than doctor told the patient to take breath like ujjayi pranayama. The meaning of Ujji in Sanskrit is Victorious. In other word we can say the person who achieved command on the respiratory system. When we take breath from the mouth then a dryness feel inside the mouth. If a person want to gain mastery in spirituality than this pranayama help a lot to achieve the target.
Natural breathing in Ujjayi
Lot of time we practice Ujjayi pranayama after a strenuous work. When we tired , we sit on the chair and keep our neck back side in relax position and start breathing from the mouth but we don’t realised we are doing Ujjayi pranayama . We relaxed our body in few second to perform this exercise. This Pranayama can be perform during Asana practice and after finish a long distance race. Its help to remove fatigue and make our body calm.
How to perform
1. To perform this Pranayama, First of all sit in any comfortable position. Your Backbone should be straight. Your left arms in resting position in Gyan Mudra on the left knees.
2. First of all concentrate on your throat.
3. Practitioner tight your throat muscles.
4. In this pranayama both nostrils will be used for the inhale and exhale.
4. The air should pass to create a friction with throat.
5. Inhale through both nostrils with a friction in throat.
6. Three types of breathing can used in this pranayama, short time , mid time and full time breathing.
7. Hold the breath for five to six counts.
8. Experts can apply kumbhaka and three bundha in this position.
8. Now exhale the breath from both nostrils and sit in a relaxed position.
9. After this take two three normal inhale and exhale and then practice again five to six time.
10. You can practice this pranayama twice in a day.

Precautions
- Always perform empty stomach.
- High blood pressure patient avoid this pranayama.
- If during this practice you start feeling uneasy than stop this practice and lay down in Savasana.
- Beginner inhale and exhale without extra pressure and stress.
- After practice this pranayama, practitioner should inhale and exhale two to three times.
